This was my very first paper artwork. It has been featured in art shows and galleries throughout Idaho and Utah, USA.

Desert Sky is a portrait of a woman, embodying the connection between the land and its people. Her features reflect the strength and grace of native cultures, honoring their deep bond with the earth. Her expression carries a sense of quiet reverence, as though she is one with the vast expanse around her.

‍ Desert Sky invites viewers to feel the awe of nature’s splendor and the enduring spirit of those who are a part of it.

Although I see the “new artist” in every detail, Desert Sky continues to move me. It served as my gateway to the world of paper- the initial piece that pushed me to learn something new. She opened the door to a medium that would define my art.
